New game design
DE team decided to rework all 3D graphic. Mainly because models didn't match each other, the design wasn't united so now its all going to change.
And this work is up to me the DE 3D graphic. My intention is to make models more precise, better made, realistic and of course to level up the futuristic feeling. In this time I have already designed all buildings and have a few ideas about units. During creating a new design I found a problem. I wanted buildings to be in right scale in comparison with units and that went to too large buildings. So I solve it through underground systems, for example in Ground Force units will be build under building an then delivered through some kind of elevator to surface.
My working procedure is to make all buildings and units in 3D without texture, then discus them with team, if something is missing or wrong i will rework it and after all is perfect I start to work on textures. And I will apply the same procedure to environmental models. That is because that way I will have more control over the design and it is tiring to rework model with already made texture (that is because interfering into model structure almost always means to rework the whole texture).
